Worry Box -- eBay Ad -- Bid History
Up for auction is a handmade worry box - full of my 5 year old daughters worries. The box is approximately 4" x 4" and is a lightweight cardboard that has been painted a soft purple on the outside and the inside is a lime green. Both the inside and outside have been decorated using flowers and butterflies.
My daughter has epilepsy and over the past year she has gone through CAT scans, MRI, EEG, blood draws as well as trials of different medications. She is scheduled for another MRI under sedation the beginning of April and she is consumed with worry over that and her illness in general.
We made the worry box together a while ago and recently she told me that her worry box was full. I am hoping if she sees someone buy it, and that she physically sees us sending the worry box away that she will feel her worries can go with it. The money earned from selling the box will go towards doing something special for her to help her forget about being sick for a little while.
Just trying to do what I can to lighten her load. Her biggest worry should be if the Easter Bunny is going to come.......not her illness.
